Hello,
Hello. My name is Jesus Garcia and I am currently enrolled in a class of Graphic/Web Design. That is the reason this site exists. I am a sophomore at Garden Grove High School playing Cross-Country and Track. The classes I take are English, Math, Latin, AVID, AP European history, and Chemistry( or at least the ones I took sophomore year). I am a Hispanic young man trying to exceed the expectations of others. I am determined to having a good future not only for me, but for the people around me and my community. You will see that there are other things you would not expect from a young man like me.
My Goal
Here is one thing I would like to let YOU know about me. My goal for my future career is to become a certified biochemist at Stanford University. Ever since I watched a documentary on Stanford University in the 5th grade, I have always dreamed of attending that school. I know it may be hard to get into universities like that, but I have not lost hope and am not planning on doing so. Attending Stanford, the school of medicine, would mean a lot to me, my parents, and my future career.
My Hobbies
This is one of the many interests I pursue in my life. Soccer has been with me ever since I was three, when my parents first took me to a galaxy game here in California. Soon after that I asked my parents to put me in a youth soccer team. Thereafter I have played soccer in right defense and center middle with good experience. Although my career heads towards an academic curriculum, I will not lose soccer off my path. I intend to keep and remain soccer with me.
My New Interests
One of my newest and most exciting interests has been dance. I began doing ROP Dance during the summer because my friend had told me to do so. She mentioned it would serve as my Visual/Performing Arts credits. Since then I have loved doing the dancing my one and only dance teacher, Ms. Ingram, does best; lyrical and jazz. It has been something that's impacted my life tremendously. I won't lose my focus in the path I am choosing, but I will not also forget dance.
